Your data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security, meaning only you can access your own entries.
Nutrition data is provided by the FatSecret Platform API. When you search for a food or scan a barcode, your query is sent to FatSecret's servers to retrieve nutrition information. Search results and food details are retrieved in real time and are not cached beyond the active session.
When you log a food entry, a snapshot of the nutrition values at the time of logging is stored as part of your personal food diary. These stored values are part of your user-created entries and may differ from current FatSecret values. You may delete any entry at any time, which permanently removes the associated nutrition data.
We do not sell, share, or distribute your personal data to third parties. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
